History

The Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 44 of 2015 explains that the National Standards for Higher Education is not only National Education Standards and National Research Standards, but National Standard for Community Service (PkM). This standard is the minimum criterion regarding the community service system at Higher Education that applies in all areas in the Republic of Indonesia.
In order to participate in realizing qualified community service programs and organizing all lecturers in community service activities that can have a large and wide impact, Lecturers Association of Community Service in Indonesia (ADPI) was formed. Thus far, ADPI membership has covered 34 provinces in Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua and Malaysia, which its central management is located in Padang, West Sumatra and its branches are in each province. ADPI’s has 1000 Lecturers from hundreds of public and privates Universities in Indonesia. This number will continue to grow.
